Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | CT lung screening is most interest and MDCT can offers thin slice, shortly total scan time and low dose. The purpose of this study is to propose special reconstruction algorithm and to decide/demonstrate best chest scan condition for ultra low dose (ULD) lung screening scan. From lung specimen experiment and chest image analysis with noise index and artifact index, it was confirmed that ULD scan condition (0. 5s/rot. , 4x1. 25mm, pitch 1.5, 120kV, 10mA, 5mAs, STND kernel, 2.SmmTH) is very useful for exist diagnosis. And it was confirmed that proposed reconstruction algorithm can improve image quality of ULD scan. Lung screening scan mode(5mAs) provides minimum low DOSE which is 1.6% of routine chest CT and is only 3-4 times of chest x-ray. |
