| 抄録(和) | 現在日本に1000万人いると推定される骨組鬆症患者の早期発見・早期治療を行うことが重要であると考えられている.歯科治療目的で撮影されるパノラマX線写真上で,下顎骨臼歯部下縁皮質骨の内面の構造が,骨密度の低下とともに線状の骨吸収像を呈することが明らかになっている.この形態変化を識別し,骨組鬆症の診断支援を行うCADを開発し,診断精度を測定した.感度:82.2%,特異度:60.0%,正診率:70.0%であった.この結果は,開業歯科医師による同じ画像の診断精度(感度:78.2%,特異度:39.9%,正診率:58.0%)よりも優れていた. |
| 抄録(英) | There are about 10 million or more osteoporosis patients in Japan now, early detection and early treatment are considered to be important. Recent studies suggested that the appearance (normal or eroded) of the mandibular inferior cortex on dental panoramic radiographs may be useful to detect osteoporosis. The purposes of our study were to develop CAD which offers diagnostic support for osteoporosis by discriminating such form changes of the mandible on panoramic radiographs, and evaluating the performance. As a result, sensitivity was 82.2%, specificity was 60.0%, and accuracy was 70.0%. The diagnostic performance of CAD was superior to that of dental practitioners (sensitivity : 78.2%, specificity : 39.9%, accuracy : 58.0%). |
