Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is effective in locating mobile nodes. However, GNSS has limits on accuracy due to various error factors. In order to enhance the accuracy, it is necessary to send the error correction data to these nodes. This data is based on the electric wave data, which is observed at reference stations, from some satellites. The position of reference stations has been determined with high accuracy. In this paper, we introduce the Internet-Based Augmentation System for GNSS (IBAS) which collects the observation data of the electric wave from satellites, generates and provides the error correction data on the Internet. The result of pilot study for our proposal system is also described. In conclusion, we consider the enhancement of the IBAS.
