Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The adaptive cell scheme that adapts the range of the communication cell adapted to vehicles' density for increasing the connecting rate was previously proposed by the authors. In this paper, vehicles' density parameters for varying the range of the communication cell appropriately are examined and performance evaluation of the adaptive cell scheme is carried out by simulation. Evaluation results show that the frequency of handover is reduced and the average connecting rate increases in comparison with the conventional method with fixed the communication cell.
