Abstract(in English) In optical motion capture, video camera images are generally obtained as input data. Since complicated fingering form of guitar may potentially cause occlusion problems in optical motion capture, obtaining video camera images are not necessarily appropriate to the motion capture for the fingering of guitar unless the layout of the video cameras is carefully taken into consideration. This study has developed a new motion capture system for the fingering of guitar. The proposed system obtains images by photo-reflectors which are embedded in the fingerboard of guitar.
