Abstract(in English) This paper reports the experiments of three inter-vehicle systems of the 5.8GHz dedicated short range communication system, the wireless local area network system and the cellular phone system. The experiments were conducted on a test track by supposing the communications along an expressway and at an intersection to investigate the feasibility of each medium for the driver assistance system. The localization data by the DGPS were transmitted between two vehicles over each medium, and the characteristics including the delay and the communication range were measured.
