Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present a transmission method of wavelet packet modulation (WPM) in fading environments. As-suming the use of WPM in wireless mobile communications, the transmission characteristics in the multi-path transmission environment and in the frequency non-selective fading environment are analyzed. The application of pilot symbol assisted modulation (PSAM) is also described. It is confirmed that each sub-band of WPM having the difiierent time and frequency resolution is affected diversely by an identical fading. In this paper we will show the relationship of the transmission performance with the sub-band partitioning of WPM.
