Abstract(in English) | Since broadcasting is regarded to be a most dependable media when a serious disaster occurs, no interruption of services is allowed in any circumstances. History of transmitting equipment and systems can be regarded as the history for improving reliability. In order to realize these important themes, high reliable solid-state transmitters and digitized AM radio transmitters are developed and put into practical use. Also, lightning protection measures for the AM radio station and TV relay station using a optical modulator are introduced to improve reliability greatly. In addition, development of equipment on digital terrestrial broadcasting which started at December of this year is described. |
