Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The conventional m-SHEL model is a kind of qualitative tool for safety analysis. This paper develops a new analytical model. This model is obtained by iterating analyses using the m-SHEL model along a time axis from an initial event to the final one, i.e., occurrence of an accident. The safety analyses of a hair-drier are implemented by use of both the m-SHEL and new analytical models in order to compare those models. The result shows that the new analytical model can be applied not only to dynamical safety analysis but also to semi-quantitative risk analysis.
