Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A wind prediction model based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is developed. The model consists of five sub-domains and is designed to be applied to the prediction of flow over complex terrain including steep slopes. The effects of the trees on the flow near the surface are simulated with a plant canopy model. The accuracy of the prediction of the annual mean wind obtained here is satisfactory for the practical applications.
