| Abstract(in English) | Recently, accident management measures were provided to Japanese nuclear power plants (NPPs), and reduced public risks by NPPs remarkably. Inspections and evaluation of nuclear power plants by the third party organizations will play more important roles due to current regulatory trends. If such third party inspection results are also applied to negotiate the fee for nuclear disaster compensation insurance, it will have an effect to increase the incentives for utilities to improve and maintain their NPPs safety. |
