Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) New active safety systems such as ABS(Anti-lock Brake System) that enhances vehicle dynamics on slippery roads and ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) that supports driver's driving by automatically adjusting clearence between a leading and an own vehicle mighit cause driver's new unsafe driving due to their convenience for the driver. Therefor, the safety of the active safety systems should be studied. In case of automobile systems different safety concept is nesserary because the role of the driver is different from that of airerafts based on high technologies. In the paper the safety design procedure that is based on the safety analysis models using the sequential failuar logic and the driver-system integrated error probability are studied.
