Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A fire risk evaluation system is developed by means of combining a fire propagation model with the technology for probabilistic risk assessment. The fire propagation model can be applied to various occupancies such as offices, factories and many other kinds of buildings. Huge quantities of fire scenarios can be extracted by use of the fire propagation model and each fire-scenario is quantified by PRA technology. Based on the model and PRA technology, the two software systems to analyse fire propagation and to estimate fire risks for the extracted fire propagation scenarios are systematically integrated as the fire risk evaluation system. The present system enables us to practice quantitative fire risk assessment and management.
