Abstract(in English) A method for estimating the natural vibration period and damping of a structure from its nonstational vibration is shown. The method is based on the Short Interval Period(SIP) distribution of a vibration structure, which can reflect the dynamic characteristics of the structure. The method is applicable to the non-destructive method for investigating the structural damage and changes of many types of structures under the circumstace of big noise and vibration.
