| 抄録(和) | FTTH (Fiber To The Home)の普及に伴い、回線の増設や、変更、光ケーブルの分岐などにおいて光ファイバを直接取り扱う機会が増えている。特に、伝送状態(活線)で取り扱う場合には、現在主に使用されている標準SMFの許容曲げ径がφ60mmであることから、慎重な扱いが必要である。本稿では、小径曲げ対応光ファイバを用いて、10Gbps伝送状態での各種作業における損失を測定し、その結果、小径曲げ対応光ファイバであれば活線状態においても安心して取り扱うことができることを確認したので報告する。 |
| 抄録(英) | With the spread of FTTH (Fiber To The Home), the cases are increasing that optical fiber may be directly handled during maintenance work such as extension or change of transmission line in a network center, or branching optical cable. When dealing with a fiber in the state of transmission, prudent handling is required because allowable bending diameter of the standard SMF is 60mm. In this paper, we report the measurement results of loss characteristics by simulating handling works with bending loss insensitive optical fibers. Consequently, it has been verified that the fibers can be handled with negligible loss increase. |
