| Abstract(in English) | This paper discusses the international standardization of optical access network systems around B-PON and G-PON that are standardized as Recommendations in ITU-T and GE-PON that will be standardized in IEEE802.3EFM. The discussion points are characteristics of standardization bodies, that is ITU-T, FSAN and IEEE802.3EFM, and technical issues of the standardized specifications of B-PON, G-PON, GE-PON and MC. WDM systems is also discussed briefly as a future optical access network system. |
