Abstract(in English) | The growth of Internet traffic has spurred the development of economical FTTH systems for high-speed optical subscriber networking. We have developed the first optical transceiver for GE-PON OLTs compliant with IEEE802.3ah Draft3.3. In the burst-mode receiver, a new continuous AGC scheme is employed to regenerate any waveforms of optical burst signals. A receiver sensitivity of -30.1dBm have been successfully achieved by the newly developed low-noise preamplifier IC and limiting amplifier IC with automatic threshold control function. In the transmitter, an output power of +4.0dBm have been obtained by using of high output power DFB-LDS. |
