Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A frequency-stabilized fiber ring laser using linear absorption line of acetylene molecules is described. The output beam has no frequency modulation. A Fiber Brrag Grating (FBG) with a 3.7GHz bandwidth enabled single-frequency operation by selecting only one longitudinal-mode. The laser frequency was continuously tuned over 2GHz with a longitudinal-mode tracking technique using FBG and was locked to C_2H_2 molecules. The frequency stability (Allan variance) estimated from error signals reached as high as 1.7×10^<-10> for τ=1s and 1.7×10^<-11> for τ=1×10^2s.
