Abstract(in English) New dispersion-flattened fibers having negative dispersion of about -8ps/nm/km over whole telecommunication band are developed. Transmissions with 10Gb/s directly modulated LDs over 51km at 1275nm and over 80km at 1550nm are realized without dispersion compensation.
