Development of Optical Fiber Edge Face Processing Technology

Abstract(in English) It is requested that it causes to launches the light wave that radiated from the laser diode (LD) in optical fiber communication, to optical fiber entrance effectively. For instance, cut the optical fiber edge face evenly for that and bring to LD as much as possible and also squeeze light with spherical surface lens etc. and also make the edge face of optical fiber spherical condition the various method are devised. Although the optical fiber edge face processing is necessary with various optical devices like this the accuracy that is demanded is severe, how it materializes the processing of effective high accuracy is important.
