| Abstract(in English) | Fiber Bragg grating(FBG) has prospective potential as a distortion sensor and the authors have been tried to develop a distortion monitoring system for tunnels. A field test of the monitoring system have started in Dec. 2001 at Seikan Under-Sea tunnel and is still kept going. This report present some results and extended applications. |
