Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This article deals with a reconstruction algorithm of frequency-domain inverse scattering problem. A cost functional on the measured scattered field and calculated one is defined, and it is minimized by using the Barzilai-Borwein steepest descent method. It is known that the method converges the objective function faster than the classical steepest descent method although the convergence of the solution is not proved completely. Also, it has an advantage that the step sizes in the reconstruction procedure can be found explicitly. Numerical results for relative permittivity reconstruction of lossless dielectric cylinders show the validity of presented method by comparing with the classical steepest descent method and the conjugate gradient method.
