| Abstract(in English) | Various kinds of high-speed access system, FTTH, Cable, and FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) have been steadily introduced into mass-users in addition to xDSL. This paper reviews current access network technologies and their trends including WDM access architecture expected in the next generation. Cost reduction issues that is important to spread FTTH on a large scale is also described. |
