Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We demonstrate generation of 100 GHz soliton train with tunability of temporal duration from 840 fs to 2.1 ps by soliton compression based on Raman amplification in conjunction with soliton reshaping by comb-like dispersion profiled fiber. The output pulse is highly-pure soliton and its optical signal-to-noise ratio and time-bandwidth product values are ~40 dB and <0.34, respectively. Moreover, we show that the compression mechanism is based on an adiabatic soliton compression scheme.
