| 抄録(和) | 非線形定数γが10W^<-1>km^<-1>を超える分散フラットファイバを設計・試作した。分散絶対値の小さい本ファイバを用いることにより、C-band帯域を含む広い波長範囲において可変波長変換を実現できることが実験により明らかになり、実際に10Gb/s伝送試験によりペナルティフリーで伝送可能であることを確認した。更に、高非線形型の分散フラット減少ファイバを試作し、わずかファイバ長500mにおいて、パルス幅3ps、パルスピークパワー1Wのパルスを入射した場合でも、帯域200nmのsupercontinuum光を得ることが出来た. |
| 抄録(英) | Dispersion-flattened fibers having nonlinear coefficient of more than 10 W^<-1>km^<-1> are designed and fabricated. By utilizing a fiber with an appropriate dispersion profile, it is experimentally clear that tunable wavelength conversion is realized in wide wavelength range including C-band. 10Gb/s transmission experiments show the feasibility of simultaneous optical signal processing, that is, wavelength conversion and optical packet processing. We also manufacture highly nonlinear dispersion-flattened and decreasing fibers, one of which can generate 200nm supercontinuum light with a fiber length of only 500m and the input pulses having 3ps pulse width and small peak power of 1W. |
