Abstract(in English) 8-channel Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) has been fabricated using PLC technology. Electric consumption power for lOdB attenuation control was reduced to 63mW/channel with average excess loss of 1.23dB and average PDL of 0.35dB. The VOA has been applied to Multi-channel optical signal level adjuster which has exhibited good performance in an accurate control of optical power level within feedbacktime of 10msec.
