| Abstract(in English) | Polarization maintaining fibers are widely used as pigtails for high-speed optical devices in WDM and other high speed transmission systems. We will explain the basic properties of the PMF and better polarization extinction ratio of connectors using our newly developed PMF which has improved glass dimension tolerance. Also, we will report the result of our development on the non-flammable PMF which is required by many users recently. We would also like to introduce our newly developed high NA-PMF and dispersion shifted PMF in the following report. |
