Abstract(in English) In this paper, high frequency AC direct conversion conditioning and processing circuit system from the utility AC power supply 100V (RMS) or 200V (RMS) AC which can operate under a principle of soft commutation is proposed and presented in principle for innovative consumer induction heating (IH) applications such as a hot water producer, steamer and super heated steamer along with the dual mode control based on PWM/PDM. This power converter called high frequency cycloconverter is developed originally as well as industrial equipments as a power supply for the induction heating for high frequency inverter used in power electronics field of home electric appliance consumers and business consumer. It is clarified on the basis of experiment and simulation results for the operation of the high frequency direct AC-AC converter for the practical IH hot water supply system using new electromagnetic induction heating dual packs fluid heater. Finally, the input electric power characteristics and power conversion efficiency is evaluated from an experimental point of view.
