Abstract(in English) A novel self-excited voltage-clamped ZVS power factor correction converter is presented. This converter has achieved the ZVS operation and low harmonic input currents by utilizing the voltage-clamped circuit. This converter controls each on-time of two switches independently for stability of an output voltage and an input capacitor voltage with the ZVS operation. This paper analyzes the behavior of static characteristics and presents design equations and conditions. Experimental results are obtained that this converter achieves high efficiency of 87.5% and high power factor of 0.993 at AC100V, and 90.6% and 0.955 at AC230V at 15V, 6A. It meets IEC61000-3-2 classD standers with enough margin.
