Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Previously we proposed a new topology of DC-DC converter. This novel converter has prominent features of voltage reduction for the main switch, size reduction, and power loss reduction. The basic steady-state characteristics were analyzed for the continuous-conduction-mode operation by using the extend state-space averaging method. This paper presents more detailed analyses including a parasitic resistive component, and the analysis for the discontinuous-conduction mode is also described. Comparing the analysis and the simulation, both results agree well, and the analytical modeling was verified. Furthermore, the effects of some circuit parameters on the steady-state characteristics were examined.
