Modeling of Soft-switching AC-DC Converter with Four-Winding-Reactor Considering the Effect of Input Noise Filter

Abstract(in English) Soft-switching AC-DC converter with four-winding-reactor is proposed, in which IEC 61000-3-2 class D is satisfied. In this paper, the modeling of the proposed AC-DC converter is performed from the viewpoint of input noise filter. The simulation results using the circuit model are compared with experimental results. As a result, it is revealed that the input noise filter part is represented by only inductive element and that the simulation results agree well with experimental results. Moreover, when the equivalent inductance value of the input noise filter part is more than 200μH, harmonics in the input current are suppressed satisfactory.
