Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed the Stationary Valve Regulated Lead-Acid Battery "MSJ-S" series which is suitable for UPS appli cation used large current discharge for short period. The capacity of each single cell is : 200Ah, 300Ah, 600Ah, 8OOAh and 1200Ah at 10 hours-rate. The assembled MSJ-S series batteries have unit construction, which has the following merits compared with the conventional MSE series batteries. ; That is reducing installation space and time, improving quake resistance, and easy inspection work. The MSJ-S series batteries employ the latest technologies in active material processing and cell's structure, which improve discharge characteristic at large current. These advances increase the 10 minutes' discharge capacity more than 10%, which required in the field of UPS application.
