Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The conventional complex resonant type converter, which has the current resonant bridge converter circuit and the partial voltage resonant circuit in primary side, used the loose coupled transformer (k=0.8). We have developed new complex resonant converter circuit, which consist of the unity coupled transformer (k=0.95) and the partial voltage resonant circuit in secondary side. In this new form, the primary resonant current is decreasing 30% or more from the conventional form. Therefore, power loss of the converter transformer and the switching device is cut down and efficiency improved about 2%.
