Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, there are various reports on the method of rotor rotational position estimation. Detection of back-EMF is one of these methods. If a spindle motor has no current, then, back-EMF is equal to the terminal voltage. However with motor current, back-EMF and impedance voltage drop exist in the terminal voltage. In this paper, a basic approach in rotor position estimation is provided detecting terminal voltages including impedance voltage drop.
