Abstract(in English) An operation to remove esophageal cancer needs lugol solution for detecting cancer region. By using lugol solution, we can recognize the cancer region clearly. But after using lugol solution, patients appeal heartburn. In order to reduce patient’s pain, it is necessary to use low concentration lugol solution. If we use low concentration lugol solution, we can’t recognize the cancer region clearly. So a system which can detect cancer region under the low concentration lugol stained condition is needed. In this study, we consider about using narrow band illumination. As a first step, we acquired hyperspectral images of the cancer samples under the low concentration lugol stained condition, then create RGB image by taking into consideration about narrowband illumination and camera sensor. After that we detected cancer region by using created RGB image.
