| Abstract(in English) | The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of a neutral money as a local currency on economy using multi-agent simulation. As the pore-stage of that, in this paper, we created an economic simulation model of legal currency without neutral money. The simulation model is based on the micro economics theory and behaves as macroeconomic model. This model consists of consumers and producers. Consumers determine the demand function based on the utility maximization problem under the budget constraints. Producers determine the supply function based on the profit maximization problem. The market equilibrium price is determined from the demand function and the supply function. Using this model, we investigated the influence of the interest rate of legal currency on the price. As a result, price fluctuations monotonically increased against the interest rate of the legal currency. This is consistent with macroeconomic theory. Therefore, it was suggested that this model has relevance. |
