Exprimental evaluation of a high-speed RoF relay system using STBC

Abstract(in English) We have proposed a novel RoF (Radio over fiber) relaying scheme using STBC and MRC diversity reception technology for future mobile transmission to solving the radio wave blind zone problem in next generation mobile communications. In the proposed system, only one RoF link is used for MIMO signals relaying, thus system complexity and cost becomes low. We have been confirmed by computer simulation that the proposed STBC-RoF-MRC scheme could achieve better performance compared with the conventional MIMO transmission. In this paper, we will demonstrate and show some experimental performance using LabVIEW and USRP.
