Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we report on an automated lymph node matching method considering deformation of abdominal organs in follow-up CT volumes. It is important to observe lymph node changes in follow-up CT volumes for confirming progress of cancer and treatment effect. However, observing temporal change of lymph nodes is complicated and time consuming because the position of lymph nodes changes by deformation of organs between follow-up CT volumes. Therefore, we perform automated lymph node matching considering deformation of liver and stomach between follow-up CT volumes. These organs occupies a large proportion in abdominal CT volumes. We analyzed deformation of organs using ICP and TPS-RPM, which are registration methods of point clouds. And we attempted automated lymph nodes matching in follow-up CT volumes considering the influence of the deformation on the surrounding area. The matching accuracy was 71.2% in 11 pairs of follow-up CT volumes. |
