A Study of Interference Reduction using MU-MIMO Directional Control and OFDMA for Wireless LAN Systems

Abstract(in English) Recently, radio signals from the adjacent BSS of wireless LANs may be received as interference signals due to insufficient channels as the number of installed wireless LANs is increased. In this research, by using the MU-MIMO directivity control technology, interference of the BSS on the interfered side is reduced. In the case that interference reduction by the MU-MIMO transmission directivity control is incomplete due to fluctuation of the propagation channel with the passage of time, OFDMA is effective to avoid interference. We confirmed that by employing MU-MIMO and OFDMA schemes, BER performances, PER performances and Throughput performances are improved without changing the number of users terminals.
