A study of physical layer security using L1 regularized channel estimation techniques

Abstract(in English) An L1 regularized channel estimation technique can, even with a short training sequence (TS), achieve estimation performance being proportional to the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) when the channel impulse response (CIR) exhibits sparse property. This paper summarizes the previously-proposed conditional L1 regularized channel estimation algorithm and its estimation performance. We observe that the secrecy capacity depends on channel estimation accuracy, and discuss that TS length control can be a key-factor for secure transmission.
