A design method of a self-triggered model predictive controller for linear discrete-time systems with noises

Abstract(in English) In self-triggered control, both the control input and the next update time are determined at every update time. So, the effect of noises on control performances is an important issue. In this report, we consider self-triggered model predictive control for linear discrete-time systems. In order to reduce the effect of noises, we propose a cost function that includes a cost for updates of the control input, taking the effect into account. Scheduling of the control input based on the cost function depends on the effect of noises. By simulation, we show that self-triggered control with the proposed cost function can improve control performances.
