| Abstract(in English) | In our surroundings, many street crimes such as robbery, groping, and suspicious act of speaking occurs every day. It is important for residents to understand crimes around them in order to protect themselves from these crimes. However, the causes of street crimes varies depending on the characteristics of the area and residents. It is also presumed that weather affects the characteristics of the street crimes on that day. In this paper, we propose an application, called CrimeCharts, which visualizes the street crime risk according to the context. CrimeCharts statistically visualizes the current street crime risk based on past street crime data and related data. At that time, CrimeCharts considers the user's location, time, weather, and the other conditions. The user can take action for self-defense with the visualized information. |
