Abstract(in English) Lateral leak (or confinement) due to the light wave propagation mode in the in-plane direction is a bottleneck in improving the light emission efficiency of the OLED. We have been proposing and discussing a method combining electromagnetic wave mode analysis for dissipation energy calculation from transition dipoles used for its theoretical estimation.
