Proposal of Collisionless Multiple Access Protocols with LoRa

Abstract(in English) With the spread of use of IoT, communication using Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) has been extensively studied. Although LPWA is capable of long distance communication and has low power consumption, it has a feature that communication speed is slow. Among LPWA, LoRa communication has practical use distance of several kilometers, so it is being considered for outdoor use without power supply. However, in the LoRa communication, since the ALOHA scheme is adopted for the MAC layer, when collecting data at a specific time, communication times of a plurality of nodes overlap and there is a possibility of generating a communication collision. In that case, since power consumption in retransmission operation increases. In this paper, we report on collisionless multiple access control scheme by TDMA base unique protocol and report it.
