| Abstract(in English) | In our previous research on a pedestrian navigation system based on the pre-recorded video, reference images extracted from a preliminarily captured image and their local feature amount are used as a database, and a reference image is selected by image retrieval with a query image to estimate the location of a pedestrian. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the accuracy of position estimation by using the convex hull area ratio of the query image to the reference image, assuming the correlation between the distance of the shooting position and the convex hull area of ?the local feature in the image in the weak perspective projection model. We confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method by using the pre-recorded video on the actual route. |
