Abstract(in English) A new optical compensation method of the third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) was proposed, we considered to miniaturize the modulator. We designed and fabricated the modulator of the single-chip structure and the single-input operation by integrating the microwave hybrid circuit onto the DPMZM. The IMD3 suppression performance was confirmed by the experiment using two-tone signals around 10 GHz. Thereby it was shown that the IMD3 component can be suppressed by more than 20 dB compared to the conventional single-MZM operation.
