Abstract(in English) In recent years, the optical orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode attracts attention as a multiplex-ing technique for increasing transmission capacity. In order to perform multiplexing using the OAM modes, it is necessary to have a flexible and low-loss generation method for plural modes. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed acousto-optical OAM mode generation by optical mode coupling in a fiber using elastic vortex wave which is elastic wave carrying OAM.
