A Proposal of a Selection Method of Synchronization Destination of Container Considering User Mobility in Edge Computing Environment

Abstract(in English) There are some researches conducted to provide low latency services by placing containers in edge servers close to users by edge computing. However, when moving from the edge server to which the user is connected, it is necessary to move the container to a new edge server close to the user according to the movement. In this research, we propose a method to schedule the synchronization priority so that the downtime is minimized for the candidate server group of the migration destination user of the edge server. To synchronize the containers in order of priority Suppress downtime and service downtime. Specifically, the scoring is performed so as to minimize the downtime predicted from the calculation resources (CPU usage rate, memory usage rate, network usage rate, user delay information) of the migration source server and target server required for migration.
