| Abstract(in English) | In principle, transflective liquid crystal displays (TR-LCDs) have high visibility irrespective of the usage environment, but their display performance is not satisfactory due to the complicated panel structure. In this research, we aim to developing a new type of a TR-LCD using a waveguide structure. We propose new fabrication processes which reduces sample assembling errors and improves the display performance of the TR-LCD. |
