Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A waveguide adapted to the terahertz frequency band is prepared and evaluated. A waveguide was fabricated by processing polypropylene with small absorption in the terahertz band using a 3D printer and a laser processing machine. Transmission characteristics of this fabricated waveguide were evaluated using an optical system using a GaP crystal as a light source. In addition, waveguide simulation by FDTD method was carried out and comparison with experimental results was conducted.
